Over time and exposure to the elements, your vehicle’s paint will become oxidized, scratched, and faded. Car polishing and paint correction are services we offer to protect and restore your paint.
Polish and paint correction services remove scratches, minor damage and restore your car’s shine.
The first step is discussing your vehicle condition and your paint correction goals with you.
Then we schedule a decontamination car wash and complete an assessment of your car’s paint condition.
Once we determine the proper service for you, we get to work.
Both our polishing and paint correction services include our full-service car detailing protection package.
We select our polishing pads, compounds, and polishers from quality suppliers like Meguiar’s and 3D to safely meet your paint correction needs.
Enhancement: light car polishing
Before beginning, we determine your paint’s thickness to make sure it’s thick enough for polishing. Often we find vehicles would benefit from polishing. We discuss our findings with you and recommend the next steps.
We always begin with detailing to remove all tar, bugs, dirt, and brake dust build-up. The car should be spotless before polishing.
Polishing helps to eliminate minor imperfections caused by surface scratches and oxidation to the clear coat. It works to restore and protect your vehicle’s paint.
We choose patience over brawn, allowing the tools and products to do the work. We use tape to protect your car’s trim and gaps and orbital polishers for their effectiveness and safety.
Paint correction restores your car’s paint through machine polishing and other paint correction techniques.
The paint correction process involves removing small layers of the clear coat to smooth away and erase oxidation, scratches, and scuff marks.
The current condition of your vehicle and your goals will determine the level of paint correction necessary.
We may recommend wet sanding to remove deeper scuffs and scratches safely.
Paint correction relevels your car’s paint and removes the scratches.
Scratches removed by paint correction are gone, but you will need to keep up your detailing maintenance to prevent new scratches.
Perfection: Cut polishing & finish polishing
Perfection is our complete paint correction package. If scratches and imperfections are in the paint layer, then a cut polish is needed to remove them.
We apply a cutting compound, an abrasive material suspended in a paste used to restore your car’s paintwork. We work this in using a rotary polisher to remove oxidation, fine scratches, swirls, and hazing.
For the last step, we offer finish polishing, and the final result of our work is a clean, reflective, glossy finish.
